O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

I am leaving for Califonia in a few hours to go and spend time with my family for Christmas, but before I left I wanted to post some pictures of my Christmas tree. I love Christmas and all the kindness that the season brings!
Our fireplace decorated for the season too!
Raymond and I got this Mickey and Minnie ornament at Disneyland to celebrate our first Christmas as a married couple.
I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May the Holidays bring everyone a Blessed time with the ones they love. Posted by Picasa

Our House!

I was going through some pictures and came across a picture of our old house in California. I reallly love it in Seattle, but I do miss having a three car garage and walk in closets. We are definitely going to be moving into a bigger place as soon as our lease it up.  Posted by Picasa

BRRRRR, It's Cold!!

Raymond and I just got back into Seattle today, and as we were flying into SEATAC, we looked out the window and the scenery was different. Instead of everything being green on the ground, everything was white. It snowed in Seattle, and it is absolutely breathtaking. As you all know, we are from sunny southern California and the coldest it gets down there is about 55 degrees, so needless to say I am really excited about the snow.

I have never seen an actual snowfall. As we were driving home from the airport all I could say was "Wow, look how pretty it is out there." Raymond was probably getting tiered of me saying that.

I am really cold though, I am not used to this weather. I am in my house with the heater on, and am wearing a beenie, scarf, sweatshirt, and pants and am still cold. I hope I adapt to this cold weather or else it is going to be a long winter. I love it though!!!!

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving, and a Happy Belated Birthday to Laura. Oops, I almost forgot, Happy 29th Birthday Raymond!

Too Darn Hot!

Today is November 19, and in Southern California we are experiencing record temperatures. The temperature peaked at 98 degrees today in Riverside, CA. I absolutely HATE the heat, and I especially hate the heat when it is 98 degrees in November. How are people supposed to get into the Holiday spirit when it feels like the middle of July?

I was Christmas shopping and the malls had their air conditioners on at full potential. I don't know about you, but I find it rather difficult to purchase a cute cashmere sweater when it is a sweltering 98 degrees outside. I am so glad that I am going back to Seattle in a week, I love the cold weather.

The Merriest Place on Earth!

My mom, dad and I went to the Merriest Place on Earth today. Where is that you ask? Disneyland, of course! That's right, Disneyland has transformed itself from the Happiest Place on Earth to the Merriest Place on Earth.

We all have year passes, so we have the luxury of going to the park whenever we want. I live in Seattle now, so I don't really have that luxury anymore. I have been home in California for a couple of weeks and will be here until a couple days after Thanksgiving. Anyways, my mom knocked on my bedroom door this morning and asked if I wanted to go to Disneyland. I was looking forward to sleeping in, but immediately jumped out of bed. She said Disneyland, how could I possibly pass it up.

We got to the park at noon, and as soon as we got to Downtown Disney to make our journey into Disneyland, Christmas was all around us. I don't know how many know this about me, but I absolutely LOVE Christmas. I am the type of person that starts listening to Christmas music in July. I have been that way my entire life. My parents would have to sing Christmas carols to me when I was a baby, just to get me to fall asleep.

As soon as we walked into Disneyland, at the entrance of Main Street USA, was the enormous Christmas Tree. It was beautiful, there were lights, ornaments, candy canes and snowflakes all over the gigantic tree. We decided to take a picture by the tree and right when my mom was snapping the shot, my dad and I had an intruder come and pose in our picture. I know what you are all probably thinking, how rude for someone to jump into your picture. However, it was a very welcomed intruder, it was Mickey Mouse, all dressed up in his holiday best. He was sooo cute in his warn snuggly sweater.

We stayed at Disneyland a little over 5 hours, and then we decided to come home before it started getting too crowded. We had a great time looking at all the shops, and we even got on a couple of rides. It was a lot of fun spending time with my parents at the Merriest Place on Earth!

It was bound to happen

Britney Spears and K-Fed have decided to call it quits. Oh my gosh, what a shocker!!! It was bound to happen, those two were ticking time bombs. I first heard the news of the Spears/Federline breakup this afternoon when watching TV. I was procrastinating while doing my homework and decided to watch THS on E! and they actually interrupted the program stating "Breaking News". I don't know about you, but since when is Britney Spears and Kevin Federline worthy of interrupting locally scheduled programming? Oh well, I am happy that Brit has decided to dump that loser.

Blogging

I decided to set up a blog so that you, my family and friends know what I have been up to. I hope that you enjoy it. It is going to be a work in progress.
